The mission of the Texas State Teachers Association is to organize all public education employees at the site, local and state levels to effect ongoing change that enhances the professional, instructional and economic interests of its members.
You chose an education career because you care about kids. As a TSTA/NEA member, you belong to the largest democratically run, member controlled, professional organization in the world. TSTA provides resources and support to help you do your job well, whether that means political action, legal support, education information or benefits.
